John Hillmer’s
award-winning creations have made their way into fine
art galleries, graphic design annuals, ad campaigns,
company identities, classrooms, theaters, posters, beer
labels, bus stops, moving sculptures, plates, clocks,
ties and tee-shirts. Many of his colorful images and
designs have been commissioned to jazz up some 50 plus
events in the last decade, including the Northwest Folklife
Festival, ZooTunes in Seattle, Earshot’s World
Jazz Festival, The Procession of the Species, Music
of Words and the Bite of Bend.
