Walasse Ting was born in Shanghai in
1929 and following art classes at the Shanghai Art Academy, he moved
to Hong Kong in 1946.
Walasse Ting arrived in France in 1950, became part of the Parisien
art scene and was strongly influenced by various Western art movements,
especially the COBRA school. Walasse Ting's paintings and watercolors
are known for their vibrant and vivid color depictions of women, birds,
animals and flowers. |
