Alice Dalton Brown was born in Pennsylvania in 1939. She studied at the art school Académie Julian in Paris and graduated at the Oberlin College in Ohio. Her oil paints often depict romantic seascapes, breezy porches and meditative interiors. Her paintings have appeared in numerous exhibitions and her works are included in private and corporate collections including Harpo, Inc., the American Express Company and the Bank of New York.
